A bluebell story.

I live in a tiny village just outside Newmarket and I'm lucky enough to have a bluebell wood right on my doorstep - its a photographer's dream come true! The walk through the fields to get there is also pretty picturesque.  With all the beautiful rural landscape around Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds I'm spoiled for choice when my clients ask where we should go for their shoot.

This family wanted me to photograph their gorgeous girl in the bluebells, but the weather had been rather chilly and they were worried about her being cold in dresses and socks.  In the end we went ahead anyway, despite the drizzle and chilly wind wrapping her up well in between the shots.

Her mummy was super organised and brought a selection of adorable dresses, coats, hair bows, wipes (as the cold makes your nose run!) and plenty of snacks.  Despite the drizzle and the blustery winds, we got some beautiful images.
